I made this to explore what a community of steel trees would look and feel like, using a range of diameters and a non-ferrous metal mesh to create leaves, if I could shrink into a tiny human, I think I'd quite enjoy this forest.
The welds at the bottom of the trunks are elongated into bumpy lifelike roots.
This piece would be perfect where shadows could be cast, either with lighting or the sun to amplify onto a surface. It is hefty in its weight due to the thick forest floor steel plate, so it is best to reach out to me for us to explore options of how to get it to you and discuss delivery costs.
