This 6" vessel was made using slabs of recycled clay, see its belt line? That's where the two slabs meet! With ample drainage holes the vessel sits atop its water tray, so as not to sit in the water.
The trays shiny boots lift the tray off surfaces to keep them dry and our glazed so they don't scratch where it sits.

Fired to cone 10 in a gas reduction kiln.
