Steel pipe/tube with solid round bar root balls.

These 'Saplings' range in diameter and the square footage of the footprint, their heights are all around 8 - 9 feet.

Built modularly for ease of transport and visual variations — the tree can rotate on its root ball base for best visual alignment. Each one numbered 'drawn' on with my MIG welder.

These 'Saplings' have traveled the state of California, providing visual stimulus indoors and out. They have given shelter for insects and a perch for birds — mix and match or standing solo, these sculptures lift the eye and create a sense of space with their presence and personalities.
