Wide Stripe Sidecar

A one of a kind piece with hand painted wide stripes of rutile on recycled clay body. This large vessel has a 'sidecar' designed to capture the plants runoff and add a touch of humidity to the air as it evaporates. I perforated the shared wall between the sidecar 'mouth' and the main vessel — elevating the larger side to encourage the flow of water.
Left intentionally raw so as to appreciate the flame kissed areas from the amazing process of being fired in a 2300 degree gas reduction kiln.
