This unique object was made with multiple uses in mind. Hand built in sturdy stoneware with wide bands painted onto raw recycled clay body with variations from being flame kissed during the gas reduction process.
And below the 'belt' line this vessel is dipped in a smooth waxy white, even the underneath of its feet are glazed smooth to protect the surface you place it upon.
The wide mouth, open to holding a 4" plant or to hold water (and not transfer moisture) for flowers or to propagate a plant as in the image. They could also be used for utensils in the kitchen, etc. etc
Fired to cone 10 in a gas reduction kiln. Plant included with pick up, but not if shipped.
