Oblong Vessels

Slab built Oblong vessels have a unique shape that inspired a combo of glaze and hand painted lines.

Left vessel has white shino glaze inside and partially outside showing off many variations— this vessel has a rounded bottom yet sits steady.

Right vessel has wavy black glaze 3/4 the way up inside with lines drawn to mimic the shape the glaze left — a thick rounded lip at the bottom is glazed.

Fired to cone 10 in a gas reduction kiln.
